Hi Swithun,

Similarly, I first came across it when installing Ubuntu on my Dad's laptop 
a couple of years ago, and it seems very common on laptops these days. I 
know people who use it with Linux but have never seen the point myself, and 
always disable it in order to use the BIOS: perhaps there is a good 
security reason?
