[EdLUG] Wifi device limits

No worries Keith,

Totally understandable. Usually these routers were on FB marketplace /
gumtree for a couple quids running the OEM firmware.
Not sure if that's still the case since I think BT is now going to change
for unreturned kit if I haven't hallucinated it.

The person could be here, or could be just a tinkerer, who like others have
the space, talent and determination to get a couple routers for a couple
quids each spend 10-15 minutes on them to be able to resell at £20+ savings
you and others the risk and hassle or bricking yours.

Should have mentioned have a couple uncovered boxes, but could have
converted one for you too. Anyhow glad you got that sorted. Hope you'll
enjoy your upgraded router, I'm quite pleased with mine due to the multiple
SSIDs it can handle, or encrypted DNS to name a few. But the options are
limitless given the hardware specs of the router, think very little
packages/services there might be that won't install or run on that box.

Have a good weekend,

Gabor
