[EdLUG] Wifi device limits

Hi all;
Posted to EdLUG and Edinburgh Hacklab; sorry for any duplicates.

I've been trying to build my smart home for quite a while now.
I have noticed that my standard BT v5 wifi box doesn't always connect to
the remote devices.
Something suggested on the net was to have the hub reset every night and I
have a smart socket do that. Still hit & miss if I get all the devices.

So I had the idea of using a recently purchased Raspberry Pi 4 as the wifi
hub.
But some of the guides I have found suggest the Pi would only be able to
connect to 10 devices.

Has anyone else found similar problems and did you find a solution?
