[EdLUG] network connection through Wine

The Routerstats page is old school enough to actually be a static web page,
last generated in 2015 ; doesn't seem to be much development happening in
there anymore...

Both Wine and Ubuntu have come quite a long way since the 2008 assertion
that it "just works", the underlying network stack could have also changed
from an API point of view (I believe it did in fact, with the systemd
change).

What's the overall use case you are trying to achieve? I have a suspicion
that RouterStats + modern distro may prove to be inachievable... (though I
have no firm data to actually back that up with)
