[EdLUG] Server Clear out (free stuff)

Hi Folks,

Apologies once again for the slightly off-topic posting, but I've got a few
servers to dispose of and thought I'd offer them to the list. These are
slightly better spec'd than the last load I got rid of, but one or more
dimms are flagged as failed.


   - Dell PowerEdge R610 Intel Xeon CPU E5504 @ 2.00GHz, 48GB RAM, PERC 6\i
   RAID Controller, 6 x 465.25GB SATA, 36XKK4J (1U)
   - Dell PowerEdge 1950 Intel Xeon CPU E5410 @ 2.33GHz, 8GB RAM, PERC 6\i
   RAID controller, 3 x 67.75GB SAS, 8NX434J (1U)
   - Dell PowerEdge R805 AMD Opteron 2376, 64GB RAM, SAS 6\ir RAID
   Controller, 2 x 465.25GB SAS, 7J9LG4J (2U)


The 1950 only reports 6GB. Not terribly sure, but I think the R805 was
throwing an error on one dimm.

I've still got a few spare drives:

   - 2x300GB DELL refurbed 3.5 SAS, still in unopened anti-static bags
   - 1x500GB DELL used 2.5 SAS (would work with the R805)


The systems have been sitting unused in our office since the last clear
out, and in an ideal world I'd like to rehome them in the next couple of
days (I've got family visiting at the weekend).

I'd prefer these go to a good cause, but they need to go by Thursday, or
Friday AM.

Happy to meet half way / deliver depending on distance. I'm based in
Falkirk.
