[EdLUG] Broken screen locker

If I recall correctly, zypper is the package manager for OpenSUSE, so those commands won't work on Kubuntu.

It's still possible that something went wrong with an upgrade, so it's worth trying the equivalent Ubuntu commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

(Older guides may say apt-get instead of apt - they're the same in newer versions of Ubuntu)

If KDE isn't working, you may need to get into a terminal first - this used to be possible by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1, but it's some time since I had to use it, so maybe it's changed on newer systems.

If it's not possible to fix it with the updates, I think I'm out of my depth again. If you can make it to Techmeetup next Wednesday, someone can probably have a look.
