Hi EdLUG


The next meetup will be taking place on Thursday 7th June at 7.30pm, with the Southsider Pub serving as the venue. There will be no talk this month and instead the meetup will be focused on the future of EdLUG.


Despite previously agreeing to persevere with the Southsider Pub, it is unfortunately clear that the venue is no longer suitable. This is due to a number of factors, including an increasing number of pub quizzes which can disrupt planned talks and non-exclusivity of the back room.


The lack of suitable facilities continue to frustrate plans for arranging ongoing talks and the ability discuss technology, etc in a welcoming environment. It is our hope that everyone can attend and please feel free to respond to this e-mail with your thoughts.


All suggestions are welcome and we hope that a solution can be found to help secure the future of EdLUG.
