[EdLUG] Laptops

Reading the "Buying a laptop without Windows" threads I thought some may 
be interested, as a BTW FYI in this:

My lad has a Chromebook, it's a very nice Toshiba thing with a high res 
display.  He's used something called crouton 
(https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton) to install Ubuntu into a tab in 
the Chrome browser.  He's then installed mono and downloaded mono apps 
(written in .NET on windows) and runs them. It works quite nicely.  So 
that's Microsoft apps running on linux running on chromeOS.  Cool.
