[EdLUG] March Update

Hi everyone

We are now at the point where we can open up space on the website to anyone
who wants to create a page for a project they are working on. We can also
give logins to anyone who wants to submit articles or contribute to the
blog. Please email webmaster at edlug.org.uk if you want to request a login.
We also have a page on Facebook and a community on Google+.  We also have a
twitter account (@EdinburghLUG) and a on LinkedIn.  If you use any of these
forums it would be great if people would join and use them to help
circulate information.

I've had a few messages from people who have had difficulty in sending
posts to the mailing list.  To ensure posts get through please make sure
you are using the email that you are subscribed with and send posts to
edlug at lists.edlug.org.uk

At the meeting on Thursday it was suggested that we register the lug.scot
domain and some donations were made to cover the initial cost and this has
been done.

Also with the election coming up I'm wondering if there are any policies
areas related to technology/data where we would, as a group, want to
question the various parties. Please get in touch if you have any
suggestions for questions.
