b.) installing 64 bit code would waste memory<br>
for unnecessarily long addresses,<br>

c.) 32 bit versions of many linux apps are<br>
available, and<br>
<br>
d.) maybe 32 bit versions of the software<br>
you'd like to use are also available.<br>
