Hi,
Running through the larger quiz ( which will be on Dec 1st) with a friend at the weekend, would appreciate any questions being submitted sooner rather than later & any ideas/feedback. Will be setting time limits around 1-2mins for each question and could try a raising hand system for people to unmute for a couple of questions, see if that works better... (people typing "hand" in chat, then I would call out names in the order people wrote) & have more time for discussion after the quiz...

3 questions per person max, if you want to see what type of questions would be good I can send you the 11 questions from the November quiz.(or if you just want the PowerPoint file, email me...) Please keep in mind that we have people with varying knowledge in our group,so preferably guessing questions with some information/explanation for the answer... or a less well known fact/anecdote...

Anybody know any BSD less well known facts for instance, ghost BSD etc...?

Please reply to my email (which is emailontheweb at protonmail.ch ) regarding quiz questions and not the mailing list.

If anybody wants to volunteer for leading any questions from a Impress/ Powerpoint I'll have already organised while I take a short break (5mins) in the middle of the quiz that would be very helpful, 1 hour straight was a bit much for me last time...

Do we send photos of our culinary talents on the 1st of Dec? Any set time,before/after the LUG... ?

- Thanks for the help with the printer,I'll work through all the emails & hopefully over XMas will try to write a WIkiHow article on choosing a printer that's Linux compatible as there really wasn't any good guide I could come across... (Maybe Duck duck go isn't the best search engine for this particular search, I haven't worked my way through Startpage results yet...)

- Does anybody know how to crop a small part of an image in Libre Draw without cropping the entire image ? (as if one wanted to cut out 2 rectangles of an image in the middle of the image using scissors eg. cropping the eyes out of an image of a face ).All the search results I get are for cropping the outside border of an image...

- Also I have no idea why,but when Libre Office crashes (offline pplictaion) then my pinned Firefox tabs will change,so when Libre is open some pinned tabs will disappear, when it crashes & closes my tabs re-appear :/ Running the latest version of Mint.

Thanks,
Marion
