NOBODY HERE IS CLAIRVOYANT.

What version of linux did you install it on?  How?  Did that
appear to work properly?  

Did it come with any sort of test to verify the install worked?

If not, what did you try to do, and what /precisely/ happened?

If it created information in logs, what did they say?   What did you
expect that's different from what happened?
