[EdLUG] Christmas Meal ?

Akva is very noisy, the food is a bit pricey and not that great IMO.

The Mosque kitchen is not so much a restaurant and more an eating
place, not much in the way of drinks (no alcohol at all iirc), and
again not great quality food IMO - it's edible, but it's kind of
thrown at you and it looks like you're expected to throw it down your
gullet as quickly and then get out, which is what most people do
usually.

There's plenty of choice in the way of chinese/thai/indian cuisine for
a great traditional Scottish night out, including a couple of good
Indian ones in Newington/South Side (one, Kalpna, is veggie).

I'd be happy with any of those - does anyone have definite preferences/hates ?
