Hi all,

I'll keep it short this time, hopefully...

TL;DR

* June's talk went OK, thanks everybody's feedback, we've merged the CoC
* July's talk is Thomas on the state of open smartphones
* August will be no official pub meetup, Scrap and Salvage day has been
proposed

+++
June talk went alright, though we had projector problems and the room
proved only just usable when we had a reduced number of people

The CoC was merged as the final part of the demo on updating the site; much
later than I'd hoped, but the impromptu opportunity seemed approproiate.

+++
July talk will be from Thomas Kluyver, going over the state of Open
smartphones

I'm looking forward to this one, and a couple of people already had
questions to ask the other night.

I'm going to ask about alternative room options for this last meetup, as I
imagine it could be as popular as Rhys's one. If we can get a bigger room,
great; if not... we'll need to figure out options for 2019-2020.

+++
August, as per tradition, will have no formal pub meetup.

Mark Turner has offered to host a "Scrap and Salvage day", with a vegan BBQ
(no dead things please). There will be tools on hand for dismantling
hardware and things.
@Mark I'll leave you to put the details out, seen as you'd be hosting.

There's been zero uptake on my thespian idea, so I'll shelve that one til
next year.

Thanks all, and keep those penguins running!

Tai
