[EdLUG] Thunderbird and GMail

I have 2 GMail addresses and have been using Thunderbird for years.  Now on
one of the addresses, GMail have complained that Thunderbird is an insecure
app and have refused to download mail to my computer, so I have to use
Firefox and go to the GMail website.

Anyone know what's happening ?
