[EdLUG] RAM Query

Hi EdLUG

I have a Toshiba Portege R830 laptop which is running a Core i5 Sandy Bridge processor.

The Toshiba website lists the max RAM for this laptop as 8GB, which I have installed. However, the Intel spec sheet for the laptop’s processor lists the max RAM supported as 16GB.

Does anyone have any 8GB DDR3 204<tel:+443204> Pin SODIMM RAM sticks which they would be willing to sell? I would really like to get the laptop up to its maximum potential.
