[EdLUG] it's been going so smoothly

my using Linux for the last few years, that is.  However, just bought a
recon. Lenovo ThinkCentre running Win10, having forgotten that Microsoft
made that and machines running it, refuse any other OS.  Cheerily, I
installed the latest Ubuntu, wiping Win, to find that nothing booted at
all.

Has anyone found a way of making ThinkCentres think, and see the light?
