Christian,

Boot a random linux and inspect the FLAGS line in /proc/cpuinfo
for the lm flag .Its a very long line and will wrap. Here's a small
section ot mine, showing the lm flag.
... fxsr_opt pdpe1gb rdtscp lm 3dnowext ...
