I'm curious if anyone else has signed up for the PINE64 kickstarter?
If so what you might have planned for this new, more-powerful,
Raspberry Pi competitor.

Their website is considered spammy by the list, but just shove a dot
com on the end of the name.

I don't expect to get my board until April-ish, and I'm betting I hit
a few wrinkles. Intending to hook it up to a decent 1080p webcam, and
see how well it copes with that. I suspect the most-annoying issue is
likely to be the limited number of USB ports, perhaps forcing me to
get it to stream over ethernet.

I'm also doubting there will have been much (any?) testing of drivers
for a USB2 webcam; I might have the 'fun' of compiling them for
myself, and filing bug reports. That prompts another question, is
anyone using a 1080p webcam on Linux, and finds it robust/reliable?
