No need to create a special distribution iso. The process would be:
1. Dhcp - tftp - PXE boot
2. Run install script (in Red Hat or Centos it is called kickstart script
3. Script points to a (standard) distribution iso and specifies disk
config, list packages to install and post-install commands.
The work is in setting up Dhcp - tftp - PXE boot and creating script (s).
Personally I have only done kickstart scripts in an environment that has a
working Dhcp - tftp - PXE boot environment.
